Make Your Own Philosophy Course With Me | 01

Overview of the process, deciding on a time-frame and time commitment, and brainstorming course topics (Live Session 01).

Today it began. We started our venture of creating our own Philosophy courses. You can come along with me on the course I’m making, or you can run parallel to me and create your own course for yourself. The idea is to do it together.

Today we did an overview of the entire process, then talked about time commitments and time-frames. I am planning a 1 credit course (1 hour lecture, 2 hours of coursework per week) that will last six weeks from the end of September through to October and November.

Then we spent the rest of our time brainstorming ideas for courses, and digging deeper into these ideas. I came up with three ideas and would love your feedback on which one you would be most interested in seeing me do:

Next week we’ll start creating the syllabus, including assignment and readings. Join us!
